Barry Tudor

Chairman and CEO

Barry Tudor founded Pembroke Resources in 2014, and serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Barry has been a coal industry leader for over a decade, having held senior executive positions in several international resource and commodity trading companies.

Among a number of high profile resources related roles within the Asia-Pacific, Barry was CEO and Managing Director of ASX listed Gloucester Coal, Managing Director of SGX listed Noble Group's Australian operations as well as Senior Vice President - Strategy for the Energy Coal & Carbon Complex division of Noble Group worldwide.

After leading the acquisition of Gloucester Coal in one of the most technically complex hostile takeovers in Australian history, the company's market capitalisation increased from $500 million to approximately $1.7 billion through a strategic focus on exploration, coking coal production, coal chain logistics and acquisitions.

Strategic development and value enhancement under Barry's stewardship included the formulation and implementation of a coking coal centric strategy; one the most intensive exploration programs in Australia; approval of key expansions through government liaison; strategic land acquisition, community consultation and rehabilitation; establishment of new coal chain contracts and one of the largest capital raisings in Australia in 2010 to fund the synergistic acquisition of Middlemount in the Bowen Basin of Queensland.

He started his career at KPMG, followed by a variety of senior regional and international roles in finance, management and marketing.

Barry holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University and a Master of Business Administration degree from MGSM. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Company Directors in Australia.

Mark Sheldon

Chief Operating Officer

Mark Sheldon brings wide ranging experience in mine management, mine contracting, geology, mine planning, metallurgy and project management. He has served in a varied cross section of senior roles as metallurgist, geologist, mine planner and mine manager across many mining companies in both hard rock and coal.

He was appointed General Manager of Gloucester Operations in 2008 to drive the assets to increased coking coal production.
Most recently he was in a senior role with Leighton Mining managing several contract mining operations in Queensland. While at Gloucester Coal Mark initiated an intensive coal exploration program resulting in increases in JORC Reserves of >300% and JORC Resources of 170%.

Other value adding initiatives included optimising mining processing and blending to maximise coking coal production; securing NSW and Federal approvals to deliver immediate value in expanded mining operations; property acquisitions to facilitate approvals and expansion; establishment of long term plans based on intelligent mine plans and accurate budgeting; the shaping of a professional, disciplined team and hands on control of targeted capital spend.

In leading contract mining operations he combined strong leadership and operational skills to develop capable teams focused on safe efficient production and delivering on plan as high performance teams. He delivered value to clients through development of green-field mines, negotiated and established new contracts and renewals, effective dispute resolution and provided solutions to significantly reduce operational costs.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Newcastle together with formal qualifications in Metallurgy and Project Management. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and the Mine Managers Association of Australia.

Amit Tyagi

Chief Commercial Officer

Amit Tyagi was most recently Senior Vice President, Business Development in the Coal & Carbon Complex division of Noble Group (Noble), a major global commodity trader where he was responsible for origination of coal investments worldwide. His role included more than 5 years direct involvement in Indonesian operations, including identification and assessment of prospective greenfield operations, negotiation of appropriate contractual arrangements through to profitable production and sales.

Highlights of Amit employment at Noble include the identification of M&A opportunities; leading valuation of all targets, resulting in successful acquisitions in Australia, South Africa and Indonesia; managing the technical, legal and financial due diligence of and negotiating with target coal companies and structured finance counterparts and managing external legal counsel to finalise transaction documentation.

Prior to Noble, Amit worked in the Strategy and Business Development at BHP Billiton. During his time at BHPB Mr Tyagi worked on a number of high profile M&A transactions and provided executives with important information and analysis to aid in reaching major investment and divestment decisions.Amit began his career as a Project Engineer at RGC Ltd and later WMC Ltd.

Amit is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds degrees in Master of Science in Finance from Boston College, Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School, Graduate Diploma in Mineral Exploration Geoscience from Western Australia and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (with honours) from University of Western Australia.

Neil Mckenzie

Chief Financial Officer

Neil has in excess of 25 years experience in senior finance roles for ASX listed entities in the resources industry, including significant exposure with international operations including Papua New Guinea, the United States and Mozambique.

Neil was CFO at ASX listed Gloucester Coal and General Manager Finance for Noble Group Australia. At Gloucester Coal, Neil worked closely with the Managing Director covering a major capital raising and JV acquisition. At Noble Group, he headed up the Financial Operations of their Australian coal interests.

Most recently, Neil was CFO for Beacon Hill Resources which was developing an open-cut coal operation in Mozambique. As a member of the group Executive Committee Neil provided business and financial support to the Board. He actively contributed to investor relations and was closely involved in finalising the Definitive Feasibility Study and listing the company on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Neil has also held senior financial roles with Whitehaven Coal, Oil Search Limited and Iluka Resources.

Neil is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Attila Kovago

Exploration Director

Mr Kovago has extensive experience as an exploration geologist, in Australia, Indonesia, and Mongolia. He is currently based in Kalimantan.

Over the past 30 years, Mr Kovago has worked for a wide variety of leading coal companies including South Gobi (Ivanhoe), PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), Macarthur Coal, Peabody and Rio Tinto.

He has overseen numerous exploration programs in Australia, Mongolia and Indonesia including technical due diligence, resource modelling and the issuance of JORC compliant statements as a "Competent Person".

He holds a Master of Science Degree in Geology, a Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering, and a Graduate Diploma in Coal Geology. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
